Aim

Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) is a technique in which trace element analysis is possible for many different applications, including environmental, metallurgical, geological, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, material and food safety areas. It is based on the measurement of the emission of atoms stimulated by passing the sample to the gas phase by spraying the sample into plasma at about 6000-10000 ° C. It can be applied to various sample types, such as liquids and solids, to aqueous and organic samples and to perform qualitative / quantitative analysis in these samples. One of the most common applications is heavy metal analysis in liquid samples.
